I recommend fullscreen and HD!
This is a turntable of an old simple model. The original still render has been very well received, so I decided I would do a turntable, so everyone could see the light bouncing around inside the gem from multiple angles.

I also added a turntable of another gem collection at the End. Its a slightly lower resolution, so please bear with it. Enjoy

Everything is done in Maya 2013, Keyshot 3, iMovie. Please comment with your impressions, as constructive criticism helps me grow as an artist.

The only stock used is the built in music track from iMovies library.

Thank you very much! Unfortunately, there are not any training videos for how I did this, and very few for the Keyshot 3 program itself. For this video, the effect is achieved by layering realistic gem shaders, and letting them refract light around. The light itself is HDRI lighting.

Do you want tutorials for this exact result? Or more general for the program? Or something else?

For general you can either go to Keyshot's website under resources, or their youtube channel "Keyshot3D". They are very basic overviews of how to use the program.
